Customs clearance

FOB value - the value of the goods excluding shipping and insurance cost

Import to Ukraine

For individuals:

If FOB value < 150 EUR: no customs fee is charged. Free customs clearance service is provided.
If FOB value >150 EUR: customs duty is charged at the amount of 10% from value that exceeds 150 EUR; VAT is charged at the amount of 20% from value that exceeds 150 EUR + sum of the duty.

Customs payment = 0,32 (FOB value – 150 EUR)

For legal entities:

If Declared value of Shipment* < 150 EUR: no customs fee is charged
If Declared value of Shipment* >150 EUR: customs duty is charged (% of a duty depends on HS code), VAT is charged (at the amount of 20% from Declared value + sum of duty)

Customs payment= customs duty + 0,2(Declared value* _ duty)

(*) Declared value of shipment could include or not the shipping cost, depending on the conditions of delivery, in accordance with the international rules of Incoterms 2010, noted in the commercial invoice of the legal entity (shipping cost is to be added when the following delivery conditions are mentioned: EXW, FOB, FCA).

 

Export from Ukraine

For individuals:
If FOB value < 10 000 EUR: no customs fee is charged. Free customs clearance service is provided.

For legal entities:
If FOB value < 150 EUR: no customs fee is charged. Free customs clearance service is provided.

Where necessary, Nova Poshta International provides brokerage services for individuals and legal entities. Brokerage services are to be paid for on basis of the Customs clearance contract.
