Nova Post has opened its first parcel locker facility in Moldova
Nova Post continues to expand its network in Moldova and is introducing new service point formats. In Chisinau, the company opened the country’s first parcel locker facility, which houses 624 lockers for parcel pickup in a single location.
The new 115-square-meter space houses 66 parcel locker sections with a total length of 35 meters. This layout allows for a large number of lockers to be placed in a single location, so that more customers can pick up their packages on their own, without having to wait in line.
Nova Poshta began developing dedicated parcel locker spaces in Ukraine at the start of the year and is now adapting this model for Moldova, expanding options for self-service parcel pickup. The first location opened near the Chisinau airport, making it accessible to both local residents and travelers.
“Nova Post was the first to install parcel lockers in Moldova and continues to expand this service, offering customers new ways to receive packages. The opening of the country’s largest parcel locker facility is another step toward making delivery more accessible. Today, our network includes 71 branches, 318 parcel lockers, and 380 partner pickup and drop-off points. We are expanding it and implementing new solutions so that customers have more options for receiving and sending packages in a way that’s convenient for them,” said Serhii Shapran, CEO of Nova Post in Moldova.
Currently, the facility is open for package pickup. In the future, the company plans to expand its range of services, including the ability to send packages and store personal belongings.
