Nova Post has launched its own courier delivery service in five regions of the Czech Republic
Nova Post is expanding its services for customers in the Czech Republic and launching its own courier delivery service. The service is now available seven days a week. It is already available in Prague, as well as in the Plzeň, South Moravian, Moravian-Silesian, and Karlovy Vary regions.
For the convenience of its customers, Nova Post has introduced precise 2-hour delivery windows with mandatory advance notification. Pickup of shipments is also handled as quickly as possible. Within city limits, a courier picks up the package at the customer’s request within 1–2 hours or at a time convenient for them. Throughout the region, same-day pickup is available provided the request is submitted by 10:00 a.m.
Within 24 hours, the package will be delivered to 16 cities in the Czech Republic, as well as to Bratislava, Milan, Warsaw, and Berlin. Delivery to Lviv takes two business days.
“Expanding coverage for our own courier delivery service is part of Nova Post’s strategic development in the Czech Republic. We aim to make the service as fast as possible and tailored to our customers’ daily needs. If the pilot is successful, we plan to expand this format nationwide starting in June,” says Andriy Artemenko, CEO of Nova Post in the Czech Republic.
The company has simplified the shipping process as much as possible. Customers no longer need to pack their packages themselves for pickup or drop-off at AlzaBox locations — the courier brings everything needed for packing. There’s also no need to label the package: simply mark the tracking number in any way, or the courier will do it during pickup.
In addition, Nova Post has made payment options flexible: you can pay for the service online, in cash or by credit card via a POS terminal directly when dropping off or picking up a package, and when picking up from a parcel locker — via the Nova Post mobile app
