Sport without the hassle: Nova Post, in collaboration with PUMA, is installing lockers at popular running spots
Nova Post, in partnership with PUMA, is launching a network of lockers along Ukraine’s most popular running routes. The initiative aims to make training more comfortable and give athletes the opportunity to safely store their personal belongings whilst out running.
The first locker, in partnership with PUMA, was installed in February on Trukhaniv Island in Kyiv — one of the city’s most popular running spots. Although the season has only just begun, 150 customers had already used the service by April. This confirms the demand for such infrastructure among the running community.
“We strive to create services that simplify everyday life for Ukrainians. Lockers on running routes are a step towards supporting an active lifestyle and developing sports infrastructure. So, we have scaled this initiative to other cities: such lockers have already been installed in Odesa on the Health Trail and in Lviv in Stryisky Park,” said Artur Kudelin, director of Nova Post parcel locker department.
Such solutions are also used in large shopping centres, at the VDNG in Kyiv and during mass events such as the ATLAS FESTIVAL. Nova Post focuses on the needs of customers and partners, installing lockers precisely where there is demand for them.
In addition, any parcel locker can function as a storage locker thanks to the ‘transfer point’ service: simply create a new shipment in the Nova Post app, select ‘send from a parcel locker’, activate the ‘transfer point’ service, designate yourself as the recipient, confirm the details, turn on Bluetooth, and open the locker to store your items.
