4 million shipments delivered, 695,000 customers, and 28.6 million lei in taxes. These are the results of Nova Post's activities in Moldova in 2024

In 2024, the company reported positive growth in all operational and financial indicators. The number of processed shipments amounted to nearly 4 million pieces, two and a half times higher than in 2023. Besides, we paid 28.6 million lei in taxes to the Moldovan budget, which is 87% more than in 2023.

The company delivers parcels both across the country and abroad every day. The number of local shipments exceeded 778 thousand, which is 26% more than in 2023. The number of international shipments increased fourfold to 3 million. The majority of the countries from which Moldovans receive parcels are China, the United States, Romania, and Ukraine, and the top foreign stores are Temu, Joom, Aliexpress, iHerb, Zapatos, and MakeUp.

Last year, Nova Post in Moldova was the first in the country to offer its customers a new service point concept — the pickup points. The company still remains the only one providing this service in the country. This helps us to deliver parcels quickly to the most remote places in the country, even if there is no our branch or parcel locker there. This allows local offline businesses to generate additional revenue. Thus, we paid 3.3 million lei to our partners in 2024. Moreover, the pickup points are all about convenience for customers, as the parcel can be picked up close to home or even in a cafe on the way to the office. Notably, over 600,000 parcels were delivered through the pickup points last year.

Additionally, Nova Post in Moldova operates the largest network of parcel lockers in 20 cities in the country, including Briceni, Edinet, Ungheni, Balti, Comrat, Cahul, Orhei, Taraclia, Ceadir Lunga, Ialoveni, Hincesti, Causeni, Stefan Voda, Falesti, Soroca, Guma, Nisporeni, Leova, Anenii Noi, Chisinau, and all the nearest settlements. Furthermore, Nova Post parcel lockers are located in Kaufland, Linella, Merci, and Local supermarket chains, and all companies are committed to a long-term partnership.

Currently, Nova Post's logistics network in Moldova includes 31 branches, 260 parcel lockers, 3 sorting terminals, and 61 pickup points. This expansion is aimed at ensuring walking distance accessibility, speed of processing, and convenience for customers.
