Nova Post has appointed its first local top manager as CEO: Jakub Karon has taken the helm of the company in Poland

The appointment is part of Nova Post's strategy to expand its international presence in the European market.
Jakub Karon is an experienced top manager in sales, operations management and business development.
During his career, he has managed teams in logistics, transport and manufacturing, including senior positions at FF FRACHT (CEO) and Kulton Transport (COO). He specialises in developing and implementing company development strategies, sales and marketing management, and business process optimisation. He has extensive experience in team building and developing partnerships in an international environment.
«Leading Nova Post in Poland is a responsible and strategic mission. My goal is to strengthen the company's position in the Polish market, expand its share in international courier shipments and introduce new services. A separate focus will be on the development of e-commerce: both in cross-border transport between Poland and Ukraine, as well as in the domestic and European markets. I am confident that Nova Post will continue to grow dynamically in Europe, offering customers modern and innovative logistics solutions,»
– commented Jakub Karon.
Nova Post has been operating on the Polish market for almost three years, since October 2022. Poland was the first country the company entered after the start of the full-scale invasion. Today, it is the company's largest network in terms of the number of service points outside Ukraine: 50 branches in 31 cities, covering all 16 provinces of the country. Thanks to partnerships with local logistics operators, the company's customers have access to 25,000 inPost parcel lockers.
«This is the first time we have invited a local manager to a top position in our company. It is an important step and, at the same time, a new challenge – both linguistic and cultural. But it is precisely such changes that confirm the group's ongoing transformation from a national business to an international company. The appointment of Jakub Karoń is the first example of this approach, and I am convinced that there will be many more important decisions ahead,»
– said Vyacheslav Klimov, co-owner of the NOVA (Nova Post) group of companies.
Nova Post is actively developing its own infrastructure in Poland. The company has two modern sorting terminals for fast processing of shipments, an e-commerce fulfilment centre in Warsaw and its own customs warehouse, which allows Ukrainian businesses to store goods without customs clearance for 90 days.
