Nova Poshta is temporarily suspending operations at its last two branches in Druzhkivka, Donetsk Oblast—Branches No. 1 and No. 3.
Branch No. 3 in Druzhkivka will be closed starting today, June 9. Branch No. 1 will remain open until June 18, after which it will also be temporarily closed.
We made this decision for safety reasons due to the enemy's constant shelling.
However, we are not leaving Druzhkivka without our services. To ensure that local residents can receive essential items, 9 Nova Poshta parcel lockers remain operational in the city. We will do everything possible to maintain their logistics operations as long as it is safe for our drivers and couriers.
Right up until the very end, our colleagues kept working to ensure that the city continued to receive essential support: the ability to obtain medicine and food, send necessary items to family members, charge devices during blackouts, and stay connected to the outside world. In May alone, residents of Druzhkivka sent and received nearly 10,000 packages.
Branch No. 1 was staffed by six of our colleagues: manager Dmytro, operators Volodymyr, Denys, Dmytro, and Andriy, as well as driver Oleksandr, who works across two branches.
In Department No. 3, the team consists of three colleagues: the supervisor, Ivan, and the operators, Alexander and Kirill.
We are grateful to each of them for their courage, resilience, and dedication to their work. During this temporary suspension, all employees have been offered jobs in safer regions.
Nova Poshta will definitely return to Druzhkivka and other cities in the Donetsk region as soon as it becomes possible.
