Nova Energy (NOVA Group) enters the fuel supply market of Ukrainian consumers

Nova Energy, a part of the NOVA Group of Companies (Nova Post), entered the open market of small wholesale diesel fuel supplies. Ukrainian agricultural enterprises became the first customers. Before that, the company met the fuel needs of Nova Post by supplying diesel to fuel vehicles and generators.
Nova Post arrived at purchasing fuel for its operational needs in the summer of 2022, following enemy attacks on oil storage facilities and fuel shortages. Back then, Nova Energy was created as part of the NOVA Group of Companies. This company obtained the required permits, purchased fuel trucks, invested in mobile refueling units, and concluded long-term agreements with producers and importers to secure its logistics against fuel supply delays. The company's key fuel suppliers are Orlen, Hellenic, Ukrnafta, Vitoil, and others.
«Our priority was to minimize risks and ensure fuel and energy autonomy for Nova Post. We currently cover 70% of its diesel fuel needs. The next step for Nova Energy was to enter the open market to sell fuel. Our experience, market insights, and sustainable wholesale suppliers enable us to offer favorable terms of cooperation to our customers.»
— says Andrii Lytvynenko, CEO of Nova Energy.
In 2022-2023, $3 million was invested to create Nova Energy. Shortly, the company expects to double its fuel truck fleet. By the end of the year, Nova Energy aims to reach monthly sales of up to 1.5 million tons of fuel.
