Innovative Nova Post terminal destroyed in Kharkiv as a result of enemy attack

On the night of 13 January 2026, Russia once again committed a war crime against the civilian population in Kharkiv, launching a massive strike on the innovative Nova Post terminal in Korotychi using two missiles and four strike drones. The cargo terminal was destroyed and the postal terminal was damaged. One of the strikes hit a street shelter.
Unfortunately, we lost four of our employees, and four more were injured and are in hospital under medical supervision. Nova Post is already providing the victims and families of the deceased with all the necessary support — medical, psychological and material.
It is important to note that Nova Post sorting terminal in Kharkiv is exclusively a civilian facility. Every day, humanitarian aid, food, medicines and essential items for residents of Kharkiv and eastern Ukraine are sorted and dispatched from there.
Despite constant shelling and danger, we continue to work and deliver parcels and cargo on time thanks to the courage, responsibility and professionalism of our team. Nova Post will rebuild the terminal, as it has done many times before, and will compensate customers for the cost of destroyed parcels. However, the strike on the terminal is a war crime committed by the Russian Federation against civilian infrastructure and the civilian population. At the same time, Russian propaganda is trying to spread misinformation by calling the facility ‘military.’
